Most importantly, they reflect the dedication of our people, who work together every day to support our clients, colleagues and communities.
Four Nominations at the LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2026
We are delighted to have been shortlisted in four categories at the LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing Awards 2026, which recognise achievements across the conveyancing industry.
Martin Tolhurst Solicitors has been named a finalist for:
Best Workplace Award
Mental Health and Wellbeing Award
Outstanding Commitment to Training
Conveyancing Firm of the Year – South of England
What makes these nominations particularly special is the variety of achievements being recognised.
Being shortlisted for Conveyancing Firm of the Year – South of England is a proud moment for our conveyancing teams, who work hard to guide clients through one of life's most significant transactions.
Equally important are the three nominations recognising our approach to supporting colleagues. Creating a positive working environment, prioritising wellbeing, and providing opportunities for professional development are all key to building a strong, successful team.
Together, these four nominations celebrate not only the work we do for our clients, but also the people who make that work possible.
Recognised for Responsible Business at the LawNet Awards 2026/27
Our celebrations continue with another exciting announcement: Martin Tolhurst Solicitors is a finalist in the Excellence in Responsible Business category at the LawNet Awards 2026/27, sponsored by Document Direct.
The LawNet Awards recognise achievements among member law firms, and we are delighted to be shortlisted in a category that reflects an important part of our firm's values.
For us, being a responsible business means recognising that our role extends beyond providing legal services. It is also about the way we support our colleagues, engage with our communities and consider the impact of our decisions.
This nomination is particularly meaningful because it recognises an area of our work that may not always be visible to clients, but remains an important part of who we are.
We are proud to be among the finalists and look forward to celebrating the achievements of fellow LawNet members.
Employer of the Year Finalist at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards 2026
Closer to home, we are also thrilled to have been named a finalist for Employer of the Year at the Kent Invicta Chamber Business Awards 2026.
These awards celebrate businesses across Kent, making this recognition especially meaningful for a firm with strong roots in the county.
The Employer of the Year category recognises businesses that commit to supporting and developing their workforce.
For Martin Tolhurst, this nomination complements our recognition at the Modern Law Conveyancing Awards for workplace culture, wellbeing and training.
A successful firm is built on the strength of its people. Supporting colleagues, encouraging development, and creating an environment where individuals can contribute and grow are essential to how we work.
We are incredibly proud to be recognised among Kent businesses for our approach to employment.
Six Nominations, One Team
Although these nominations span three different awards programmes, there is a common thread running through them all: our people.
From our conveyancing teams supporting clients through important milestones to the colleagues working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, everyone plays a part in the firm's success.
These nominations are a welcome opportunity to recognise their dedication, expertise and commitment.
We are proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who contributes to making Martin Tolhurst Solicitors the firm it is today.
Whatever the results, six nominations across such a broad range of categories is already a fantastic achievement.
We look forward to celebrating alongside our fellow finalists and wish everyone the very best of luck!
