Our Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme lets you train to qualify as a solicitor and get a mix of practical, work-based learning and formal academic study. You will gain valuable, real-life experience at one of Kent’s leading Law Firms whilst receiving a salary. Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Solicitor Apprenticeship Scheme running in 2026?
No. The scheme will reopen for applications via our website on 1st January 2027 and close on 28th February 2027. Successful candidates will be contacted and invited for an interview.
Do I need to go to university to become a Solicitor through this route?
No. The apprenticeship provides an alternative pathway to qualification by combining work-based learning with academic study.
How long does the apprenticeship last?
The programme lasts for 6 years.
