Ilaria is responsible for managing the Firm's marketing, public and community relations, establishing the long-term strategic direction for the company's efforts to reach new audiences and identify new business opportunities. In her over 6 years of marketing experience, she has covered Direct Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Events Management with a strategic flair and focus on results.

What Ilaria says:

I completed my degree in Communication and Marketing at La Sapienza University, Rome, in 2017. My interest in marketing started even before my studies. As a Millennial, I've always understood the importance of marketing activities: they are vital for any firm as they allow you to inform, engage and communicate a specific message to your customers. Marketing, online and offline, is one of the essential pillars for creating brand awareness and boosting your sales.

After completing my studies, I joined a Jewellery Firm for an internship, and I started to expand my professional expertise and know-how. In the meantime, I've helped a few small businesses as a Marketing and Social Media adviser freelance. I helped them grow their brand awareness, improving their online presence and image, and creating a unique and robust marketing strategy.

I then decided to move to London to improve my skills and continue building my marketing field career. The Indi-go Group was my family for almost two years. As Marketing Executive for a hospitality company, I dealt with managing all their enterprise digital channels (Social Network Sites, blog and website), offline communications and the creation of engaging texts for the Web and promotional activities.

I joined Martin Tolhurst in March 2020, as I was impressed by their reputation as one of the most prominent Law Firms in the South East. This is going to be a new exciting challenge for me and my career.

Outside of work, I like to solve problems and mysteries, travel finding new adventures on the way, eat pizza and enjoy my time with family and friends.

If I were not a Marketing Manager, I would be…

A famous chef: Italian food is my favourite source of happiness.

If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three pieces of music, or books or films with me, I would take one of each, and they would be...

The notebook (a story by Nicholas Sparks and directed by Nick Cassavetes) because I'm in love with Allie and Noah's story - I must admit, I'm a very romantic kind of person. Pride and Prejudice the book, because I'm fascinated by Jane Austin and even more by the strong female character of Elizabeth Bennet. Lastly, Creep (Radiohead) - my favourite song of all time.
