Martin Tolhurst Solicitors Welcomes Joana Daraskeviciute as Head of Litigation

Martin Tolhurst Solicitors is delighted to welcome Joana Daraskeviciute as our new Head of Litigation, leading the firm’s growing Litigation team and supporting the continued development of our dispute resolution services for individuals and businesses across Kent and beyond.

Joana brings extensive experience in litigation, together with a collaborative and people-focused approach to leadership. Her appointment marks an exciting next step for the department as we continue to strengthen the expertise, service and support we provide to our clients.

Joana studied Law at Liverpool John Moores University between 2012 and 2018, where she also completed the Legal Practice Course before qualifying as a solicitor.

Her legal career began in Liverpool in 2015, when she joined a specialist property litigation firm. She later moved to Kent and, before joining Martin Tolhurst Solicitors, spent several years at another local law firm, where she had worked since 2019.

As Head of Litigation at Martin Tolhurst, Joana will lead an experienced team while building on the department’s existing strengths and supporting its continued growth and development.

Speaking about her new role, Joana said:

“I hope to bring a collaborative and supportive approach to the team, creating an environment where people feel valued, encouraged to share ideas and empowered to do their best work.

“What I’m most looking forward to is the people, working alongside a talented team, sharing ideas, tackling challenging cases together and seeing everyone continue to develop.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to build on the department’s existing strengths, develop our people and continue delivering an outstanding service to our clients.”
