Santa's set the pace for North Kent MIND!

On Sunday 16^th December Martin Tolhurst Solicitors organised one of Kent’s biggest charity Santa Dash events ever! With over 300 Santa’s running either the 5k or 10k, groups of friends, families and colleagues sprinted through Cylco Park in Gravesend dressed head to toe as Father Christmas himself!

A sight to behold, the Santa Dash was organised to help raise money and awareness for North Kent MIND, an independent mental health charity but those who took part in the race could raise money for any charity they wanted.

The festive dash stood a hit with everyone involved and was a perfect way to get people to come together and create a real sense of true holiday spirit. Many participants ran for other charities as well as supporting an important mental health charity which at Christmas time is when many can be most vulnerable. Justin Bateman, the CEO of North Kent MIND said, “We are really grateful to the firm for supporting us,  and to all those Santa’s helping to raise money to help us in our work. A lovely Christmas Present for our charity! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas on behalf of all of us at North Kent Mind”

All registration fees for the Santa Dash went towards North Kent MIND, and over £4,000 was raised by Martin Tolhurst Solicitors. Richard Carter, Managing Partner of the firm said “We would like to thank everyone who came out on Sunday to take part in the Charity Santa Dash and helped support the event, this was one of our biggest charity events that we have ever had and has paved the way for more running events for us in the future!!”

North Kent Mind are currently supported by Martin Tolhurst Solicitors as their chosen charity and have more events are in the pipe line for 2019 including a 3 Peak challenge as well as a charity abseil.
