Susan Nicolle
I joined the firm in November 2024 as Wills and Probate Executive within the Private Client Department, specialising in all aspects of wills, lasting powers of attorney (LPAs), probate, estate administration, and Court of Protection matters.
With over fifteen years of experience as a Private Client Lawyer, I understand that dealing with personal legal matters can be difficult, especially when grieving. Estate planning and mental capacity can be overwhelming and my approach is to provide clear, practical advice, ensuring my clients feel fully supported throughout the process.
How Can Help You
- Wills & Estate Planning – Helping individuals and families protect their assets and plan for the future.
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) – Advising on and preparing LPAs to ensure trusted individuals can manage your affairs if needed.
- Court of Protection Matters – Assisting clients with deputyship applications and mental capacity-related legal issues.
- Probate & Estate Administration – Handling straightforward and complex estates efficiently and with care.
My Legal Journey
I completed a Degree in Law and Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and a Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law, Birmingham. After moving to Devon, I spent over eleven years as a Private Client Lawyer, gaining extensive experience in all areas of private client law. In 2020 I relocated from Devon to Kent and have worked for other Kent law firms. I joined Martin Tolhurst Solicitors in November 2024, bringing my experience to my clients in Kent.
About Me
If I were not a lawyer, I would be a trampoline instructor, as this was my passion when I was younger.
If I were stranded on a desert island, my must-have music and books would be
- Fleetwood Mac Album - Dreams – a story in itself!
- An Enid Blyton novel – an escape back to my childhood.
