Conveyancer

I am a Conveyancer in the Residential Conveyancing Department at Martin Tolhurst Solicitors, helping clients with a wide range of residential property transactions.

I joined the firm in 2019 as a Legal Secretary in the Family Department before moving into residential conveyancing in 2022. Since then, I have developed my knowledge and experience through working alongside experienced fee earners and gaining a practical understanding of the conveyancing process.

I enjoy helping clients through what can be an exciting, but sometimes stressful, time. My approach is friendly, efficient and approachable, and I aim to make each transaction as clear and straightforward as possible.

How I Can Help You

I assist clients with a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, supporting them throughout each stage of their property transaction.

I understand how important good communication is when buying or selling a home. I aim to keep clients informed, explain the process clearly and deal with matters efficiently so that they know what is happening and what to expect next.

Whether you are moving home or dealing with another residential property matter, my focus is on providing a professional and approachable conveyancing service and helping the transaction progress as smoothly as possible.

My Legal Journey

I studied at university before taking time out to raise my two children.

I moved into Residential Conveyancing in 2022, where I began developing my career in property law.

Since moving into conveyancing, I have built my experience through hands-on work and by learning alongside experienced colleagues. I have also successfully completed the Level 4 CQS Conveyancing qualification, strengthening both my technical knowledge and practical understanding of residential conveyancing.

I now work as a Conveyancer and enjoy continuing to develop my experience while helping clients through their property transactions.

About Me

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and making time for the things I love, particularly books, good coffee and a little escapism.

If I were not a conveyancer...

I would love to run a cosy café with a bookshop. It would be a welcoming place where people could relax with a good book, enjoy great coffee and homemade treats, all my favourite things, and take some time out from their busy lives.

If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three pieces of music or books with me...

A collection of Sunday love songs and plenty of good romance novels. I am a hopeless romantic at heart, so I would be perfectly happy with a soundtrack of love songs and stories with happy endings to keep me company.
