Liza deals with new enquiries that are received by the firm (with the exception of conveyancing for which please click here) and is based at our Head Office in Gravesend. She is able to engage with clients and lawyers alike to ensure that our services are delivered in a professional, efficient and approachable manner from the very beginning.
What Liza says:
I have worked as new enquiries administrator for Martin Tolhurst for 3 years in which I have gained extensive experience in dealing with new and existing clients and assisting in any queries clients may have. My current studies and my interest in law assists me in the day to day role of allocating new enquiries to the solicitor that is best suited to meet the specific needs of the client, whilst my customer service experience enables me to help make the process of seeking legal advice and instructing a solicitor an easy task. I have a Degree in Law (LLB (Hons)) I was awarded a 2:1 and completed this with the Open University. I am currently studying for a Masters in Law and the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law in Guildford.
Outside of work when I am not studying I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, socialising with friends, and can also be seen jumping out of planes, or abseiling down buildings for charity.
If I were not a new enquiries administrator, I would be...
I would be a travelling photographer as I love to travel and capture lifes special moments on film to observe them any time.
If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three pieces of music (or books or films) with me, they would be…
I would take The Secret Barrister – a book that I could never get bored of reading, and contains humour that would certainly keep me sane whilst stranded, Amy Winehouse album ‘back to black’ to add a little soul to my laughter and finally a book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne to remind me that my mind set will help me get off the Island!
