Liza Anderson
Liza is currently based in our Gillingham branch working within our Litigation Department.
What Liza says:
I started with Martin Tolhurst in 2018 as a New Enquiries Administrator. Within this role I gained extensive experience in dealing with new and existing clients and assisted in queries clients may have. Client care is of utmost importance to me and I will always endeavour to make myself available for prompt client updates and queries. I completed a Degree in Law in 2020 in which I was awarded a 2:1 and I completed the LPC LLM with the University of Law in Guildford, achieving a Distinction. I am currently working in the litigation department, undertaking my final seat supporting one of our Partners, Giles Dobson and focusing on inheritance act claims and Will disputes. I pride myself on being friendly and approachable with excellent organisation skills due to studying, working full time and raising a family simultaneously.
Outside of work when I am not studying I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, socialising with friends, and can also be seen jumping out of planes, or abseiling down buildings for charity.
If I were not a Trainee Solicitor, I would be...
I would be a travelling photographer as I love to travel and capture life special moments on film to observe them any time.
If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three pieces of music (or books or films) with me, they would be…
I would take The Secret Barrister – a book that I could never get bored of reading, and contains humour that would certainly keep me sane whilst stranded, Amy Winehouse album ‘back to black’ to add a little soul to my laughter and finally a book called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne to remind me that my mind set will help me get off the Island!
