Hannah is currently a trainee solicitor based within our Gravesend office, specialising in Wills.
What Hannah says:
After gaining my BSc Hons degree in Law and Criminology at Canterbury Christchurch University, I completed my Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, London. I then gained some valuable experience as a secretary doing Conveyancing and Wills and Probate at two different Firms in Ashford and Maidstone. I joined Martin Tolhurst Solicitors in April 2018 as a Trainee Solicitor.
I am currently working in the Wills & Probate department and enjoy talking to and meeting clients in order to assist them in planning for the future.
Following on from this area of law, I hope to undertake my other two seats working within the Family and Residential Conveyancing/Property Law departments as part of my training to become a Solicitor.
I believe it is extremely important to be organised, in order that I am able to provide a professional service for all of our clients. Legal jargon can be confusing at times, and I aim to ensure that our clients understand and are confident throughout in all legal proceedings.
Outside the office I volunteer for my local church, and I help run a local youth drama group in Ashford. I love going to the theatre, reading, baking and spending time with my family and friends. I also love to travel, even if it is just round the UK camping.
If I weren’t working in the legal profession, I would be...
A skydive instructor. I did a skydive for charity last year, and I absolutely loved it!
