Bushra Hamid
I joined Martin Tolhurst in 2016 as a Conveyancing Assistant and worked closely with a Partner. This period was foundational, providing me with extensive training and a deep immersion in the nuances of residential property transactions. My commitment to the field and technical growth led to my promotion to Conveyancer in 2017. Following a brief career break, I was delighted to rejoin the firm in 2025.
I graduated from BPP Law School, London with an LLB in 2012. I later built upon this foundation through postgraduate studies, officially qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019.
My work includes Transfers of Equity, Remortgages and Freehold sales and purchases.
I recognise that residential transactions represent a significant financial milestone for my clients. Because of this, I view my role as more than just a legal process – it is about providing peace of mind. I am committed to delivering clear, considered advice and take a proactive approach to ensure matters progress efficiently and with minimal stress. By identifying potential hurdles early, I ensure that every matter progresses as efficiently and smoothly as possible.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two children and exploring new places and cultures with them.
If I were not a lawyer, I would be...
I would be a baker as I love baking at home.
If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three pieces of music (or books) with me, they would be…
I guess the only book I need would be How to Stay Alive by Bear Grylls
