Amata Ikwele

I joined Martin Tolhurst Solicitors in February 2025 as a Solicitor in the Residential Conveyancing Department, bringing a strong background in property law and a client-focused approach to every transaction I handle.

Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2019, I have advised on a wide variety of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. I have experience managing high-volume caseloads, and I pride myself on delivering clear, timely legal advice and maintaining excellent communication throughout the process.

My Legal Journey

I earned my Law Degree at the University of Wolverhampton in 2015, followed by an MSc in Law, Business and Management alongside the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law in 2017. I completed my training and qualified as a Solicitor in 2019, and since then have focused my practice on residential conveyancing, helping clients across a broad range of property transactions.

Outside of work, I enjoy DIY and home improvement projects - I’m always planning my next creative challenge around the house and love bringing ideas to life with a hands-on approach.
