What Leah says:
I have studied law throughout my education from GCSE, A Level and then completing a degree in Law at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in July 2019. During my degree I spent my third year completing a one-year placement with a Solicitors Firm where I got my first experience of Residential Conveyancing whilst completing a Diploma in Professional Practice alongside it.
I joined Martin Tolhurst in 2019 after graduating University with a Law Degree. Since my time with the Firm I continue my studies with the Chartered Legal Executive Law School to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
In my spare time I love to raise money for charity. I participated in the Skydive with MTP as well as the walking challenge. I also raise money outside of MTP and have recently completed a 56 mile running challenge for Cancer Research.
I also enjoy staying active and participate in my local Park Run. I enjoy cooking and baking using the skills my Nan taught me.
If I were not a lawyer I would be: -
I would be a physiotherapist.
If I were stranded on a desert island and could take 3 pieces of music (or books, films) with me it would be: -
Any book by James Pattison. Each of his books create a narrative of who Alex Cross is and they build upon each other showing different parts of his character. This can leave you justifying some or his actions but also questioning him too. These books will definitely keep my brain ticking over if I were stranded.
Khalid’s albums, his voice is heavenly and I would be able to relax on the beach.
The Shrek films, I could quote each film line for line as I have watched them multiple times since my childhood but they are a family favourite and will always be good funny watching.
