What Gemma says:

“After completing my AS Level in Law, I started my legal career by working for a criminal law firm whilst I was studying a Legal Secretarial Course in 2008. An opportunity then arose to work within a Civil Litigation team at another Law firm based in Bexleyheath.

I wanted to expand my legal knowledge further and having always been interested in property law, I embarked on a change of legal field into the world of Conveyancing.

I completed my ‘CILEX Diploma’ at Level 3 in Law and practice in 2014, which included the area of Conveyancing.

I am also a member of CILEX, having illustrated to them that I have maintained a high level of knowledge and experience and am able to keep up-to-date with all of the changes in the law. As a member, I commit to completing continuous professional development and am always keen to expand my legal knowledge.

I am committed to providing the best service for my clients and will always take the time to speak to them on the telephone and deal with any queries they may have.  I am well organised, reliable and aim to make transactions run as smoothly as possible, whilst being professional and keeping clients fully updated.

Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my young son and taking part in sporting activities. I also enjoy going to the theatre and Cinema and exploring new places.”

If I were not a lawyer, I would be...

A police office (no uniform!), probably CID or MID as I am quite nosey and I think it would be interesting.

If I were stranded on a desert island and could take three music albums with me, they would be…

Nellyville by Nelly; Get Rich or die Trying by 50 Cent; Lastly the Greatest Girl bank of all time, Spice Girls – their Greatest hits is the best album ever.
