Apprentice Solicitor

I joined Martin Tolhurst Solicitors in September 2023 as the firm’s first Apprentice Solicitor, following the completion of my A Levels at a local grammar school. My apprenticeship allows me to gain hands-on legal experience while studying towards a Law and Legal Practice degree with BPP University, before undertaking the SQE exams at the end of my programme.

My Legal Journey

As part of my training, I have had the opportunity to gain experience across different legal departments, developing a broad understanding of various areas of law. My apprenticeship has provided exposure to client work, case management, legal research, and compliance, helping me build the skills required to become a well-rounded solicitor.

I initially gained experience in residential conveyancing, assisting with property transactions, file management, and compliance procedures. I then moved into family law, supporting solicitors on cases involving financial remedy proceedings, Children Act matters, and non-molestation orders. As I continue my training, I look forward to further developing my expertise across different legal disciplines.

How I Can Help You

  • Attention to Detail – Ensuring that each case is thoroughly examined, considering all legal perspectives.
  • Practical Solutions for Complex Issues – Assisting in resolving legal challenges with a client-focused approach.
  • Clear Communication – Keeping clients informed throughout the process to ensure a smooth experience.

About Me

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

If I weren’t a lawyer, I would be...

A detective. I have always been fascinated by true crime podcasts and TV shows, particularly the methodical processes involved in solving cases.
