Leanne Fenton

Leanne has over seven years of conveyancing experience. She joined the firm in September 2019.

In that time she has dealt with a variety of sale and purchase work including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, listed buildings, new build and right to buy transactions.

What Leanne says:

I undertook a Law degree at the London school of Economics and graduated in 2012. Having done a range of work placements at city law firms, I decided the corporate law route was not for me and that I wanted to do private client / property work. I then obtained a role as post completion clerk at a high street firm in Kent for a year before moving to a city firm to be a paralegal in the property department. This role involved me dealing with high net worth overseas clients purchasing new build properties in central London. I stayed in this role for 2 years and then joined a south east London firm as conveyancer. I qualified as a chartered legal executive in February 2017.

I have no particular specialism as I enjoy the variety of the role. I am confident in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, right to buys, help to buy equity loans and remortgages.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, dining at new restaurants, going to the cinema and travelling.

If I were not a lawyer, I would be...

A property investor as I love watching homes under the hammer on BBC and I would love to use my creative skills in redeveloping properties.
