We are one of the only firms of solicitors in the country to attain HIP code status. We produce all our HIPs in house (rather than sub-contract the work like most firms) for agents and clients. They are likely to produce around 10,000 HIPs in 2008.

HIPs

All properties placed on the market from 14th December 2007 are required to have a HIP provided by the seller. Martin Tolhurst are one of the few solicitors in the country producing their own Home Information Packs(HIPs) from start to finish - we do not sub-contract our HIPs to third parties. Our HIPs are subject to quality control checks and we have HIP code accreditation - fewer than 25 solicitors in the country have such accreditation giving you peace of mind.

We are one of the largest HIP providers in the South East, and all our HIPs are produced from a dedicated HIP centre based at our Ashford office.. We have an in-house Domestic Energy Inspector for the production of the Energy Performance Certificate and use a carefully selected panel for other reports. Where searches are available quickly our HIPs are usually available within 7 days of an order. Our current prices are:
1/2 Bedroom freehold properties £299
3-4 Bedroom freehold properties £329
5+ Bedroom freehold properties £349
